Vinci, The Belfry, Halfway House

SOLJET were appointed by Vinci Construction to complete the refurbishment of the Belfry’s Halfway House. Situated between the 9th Green and 10th hole the Halfway House acts as a welcome pitstop for players on the Brabazon course and as a result was the centre of attention at the 2023 British Masters.

The centrepiece of The Belfry is its Brabazon course, designed to challenge and delight golf enthusiasts of all skill levels. The meticulously manicured fairways and greens offer a stunning backdrop against the natural beauty of the landscape. With a legacy of hosting prestigious golf tournaments, including Ryder Cups and international championships, the golf course sets a standard of excellence in the world of golf. 

Our works included a reconfiguration and refurbishment of the entire Halfway House facility with newly installed mechanical, electrical and specialist services including the addition of new partition walls segregating the heavily used restrooms from the kitchen and serving area. 

In addition externally of the building SOLJET were required to conduct civil engineering works, foundation formation and installation of a steel sub structure to facilitate a new seating area with a decked finish that is now home to a newly installed oak frame gazebo housing BBQ items for major events. 

In an accelerated programme this was completed before the beginning of the British Masters allowing the Belfry Golf Resort to make full use of the facility with thousands of spectators visiting over competition week.
