The Problem

As traditional high street banking continues to evolve, maintaining access to essential financial services remains a priority for communities across the UK. Newmarket, a historic market town in Suffolk, required a new community banking hub to provide local residents and businesses with continued access to everyday banking facilities The challenge was to transform an existing retail premises into a modern, purpose-built banking facility, balancing customer accessibility, operational requirements, security and the need to deliver a high-quality finish.

The Solution

Working on behalf of JLL, SOLJET undertook the transformation of the premises into a new community banking hub as part of Cash Access UK's wider programme to maintain essential banking services across the country.

Drawing upon our experience delivering similar banking facilities, SOLJET provided a coordinated, multi-trade approach to the refurbishment and fit-out, bringing together the building fabric, internal finishes and specialist services required to support the new facility.

The project centred on creating a welcoming banking environment, incorporating customer-facing service areas, private consultation spaces and secure operational facilities.

Through careful planning, effective coordination and a solutions-led approach, SOLJET worked to ensure the completed facility met the functional requirements of a modern banking hub while providing a professional, accessible and comfortable environment for customers and staff.
