The Solution
Located in Cannock, West Midlands SOLJET were responsible for the redevelopment of an existing church and community centre which compromised of a narrow driveway and rear car park and was adjacent to local council offices and associated residential facilities.
Our work included the demolition and strip out of existing buildings to facilitate space for an extension and reformatted driveway allowing full access to the rear of the property. The extension, designed and built in a steel subframe was complimented with a new roof frame and composite finish including the making good of gable ends and other areas requiring remedial actions.
The new layout of the facility was formed using new partitions, plasterboard and glazed, new raised access floor and compliant fire doors throughout. The new office facility was finished with bespoke decoration, newly laid flooring and carpet throughout as well as specially designed lighting to sit within newly formed feature bulkheads to multiple areas across the facility. All mechanical, electrical and specialist services were design and installed by SOLJET
SOLJET's new headquarters include an open plan office, five glazed individual offices, two kitchen areas, toilets, shower rooms, boardroom and storage areas. The project was completed before the estimated handover date and is widely regarded as one of our best projects to date.
